    TEDPIX to gain 18,448 points: Iran

    (MENAFN) On Monday, TEDPIX exceeded 700,000 points, registering a new record high; the index made 18,448 points to 708,484 during the Monday trades.

    The TSE's index also recorded its highest-ever increase on Saturday, when it made 23,219 points in a single day to reach 668,981, as more than 5.775 billion securities value about USD1.465 billion were traded through 830,000 agreements.

    Last week, TSE held its largest-ever IPO.

    Social Security Investment Company (SSIC), Iran's main state-owned investment firm, offered 8 billion shares, which account for 10 percent of its stakes, for sales at the Tehran Stock Exchange on April 15.
