    Iran: 27,947 licenses issued for establishing new industrial units

    (MENAFN) During the past Iranian calendar year 1398, 27,947 licenses were released for founding new industrial units which mark a 14.2-percent rise yearly, according to the latest data issued by Iran's Industry, Mining and Trade Ministry.

    Over about USD86.52 billion was invested for the construction of the mentioned units which shows a 26-percent climb in comparison with the preceding year.

    The new units are estimated to make job opportunities for 633,381 people, 14.2 percent over the figure for the year 1397.

    In the previous year, the number of licenses that were released for the newly founded industrial units to begin operation also climb by 2.9 percent yearly.
