    Shopping malls in Turkey resume operaitons

    The shopping malls in Turkey are going to go back into operation on Monday after around two months of shut down as the country has started to ease its measures against the coronavirus after seeing improvements in controlling the disease.

    The president of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said earlier this week that Turkey is going to normalize slowly in the period from May to July, and that many factories in the country are going to resume operations in the upcoming week.

    Shopping malls, that have been shut down on the 21s of March in roder to curb the spread of coronavirus, are going to reopen again on Monday, which marks two weeks earlier of Eid al-Fitr holiday.

    The Shopping Centers Council in Turkey said that personnel and customers are required to wear face masks and follow the social distancing rules in all malls at the time of reopening.
