    Iran reopens its Pakistan, Afghanistan trade borders

    Eghtesadonline said on Thursday that Iran has reopened its Pakistan and Afghanistan trade borders after being closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

    Rouhollah Latifi, Spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, said that "Iran's border crossings linking to Afghanistan, including Mahiroud and Dogharoun, have reopened for trade" under strict health measures observance.


    The country has kept its exports to Afghanistan at the border of Milak that falls in Sistan and Baluchestan southeeastern Iranian provinces.

    Head of Iran-Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce, Mohammad Mehdi Javanmard-Qassab, said that the Afghan traders and truck drivers visa issuance to Iran, that was halted after coronavirus broke out, is now back to normal.
