    50 mini copper mines to be revived under IMIDRO's plan

    (MENAFN) Based on reports issued by IRNA news agency, a number of 50 inactive small copper mines are planned to be revitalized during the present Iranian calendar year (ends on March 20, 2021) as announced by Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

    The National Iranian Copper Industry Company will benefit from the prolific results that will return from reviving the said mines, according to the agency's report.

    Amid the current Iranian year, a number of copper ventures values 100 trillion Rials (about USD2.38 billion) have been identified by the National Iranian Copper Industry Company, IMIDRO Head Khodadad Gharibpour declared.

    A number of 94 mines among the total small copper mines all over the state are active, 96 are inoperative, whereas 21 mines are being equipped.
