    (MENAFN)

The head of the Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) in Iran says that Iran can increase its non oil exports to the double to its neighboring countries in the upcoming two years.

The official, Hamid Zadboum, said during an interview carried out by IRIB on Friday that the TPO is making plans to raise the non oil exports of Iran to its neighbors to around USD100 billion in the next two years, as the Iranina share of the regional markets will increase.

The official was quoted saying earlier that 'Pakistan and Turkey have the highest capacity to import Iranian goods, which is good news for Iranian businessmen and exporters'.

He also added that the Persian Gulf states are good markets for some of the Iranian manufactured goods, saying that big large markets like Russia and China should as well be taken into consideration by exporters.
