    Egypt proclaims Western Desert novel oil finding

    (MENAFN) On Wednesday June 3 Egyptian Petroleum Company stated that a novel oil discovery was made in Egypt after drilling a well in the Western Desert that would create huge amounts of basic oil and natural gas.

    Borg Al Arab Petroleum Company discovery was achieved at Abu Sennan allowance after drilling Al Salemia at the Western Dessert in Well-5.

    The company stated that "The new discovery has been put on the production plan at a rate of 4,100 barrels of crude oil per day and 18 million cubic feet of natural gas per day,".

    Borg Al Arab Petroleum Company is a combined business enterprise amid the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation and Kuwait Energy Egypt, and it is accountable for operations at Abu Sennan allowance in the Western Desert.
