    Yearly exports from duty free trade, unique economic zones beats 17 billion USD

    (MENAFN) Secretary of Iranian Free Zones High Council Morteza Bank announced that the worth of exports from Iran's duty free trade zones and special economic zones placed at 17 billion USD throughout the past Iranian agenda year (ended on March 19).

    IRIB recorded that the official also stated that merchandises worth USD 5 billion produced in these zones have been sent to different areas in the country during the previous year.

    Bank additionally place the worth of products imported to the duty free trade zones and unique economic zones at 5 billion USD in the precedent year.

    The official stated that, "We are planning to reach the same level of exports in the current year as well.", highlighting the worth of imports to these zones is very low compared to the worth of exports from them.
