    Turkish Central Bank maintains interest rates steady

    (MENAFN) On Thursday June 25 The Turkish Central Bank reserved its one-week repo rate unadjusted at 8.25 percent.

    A declaration from the bank's sixth conference of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) stated that the bank determined to maintain the one-week repo sale rate steady at 8.25 percent.

    The declaration additionally stated that: "As developments regarding the spread of the Coronavirus substantially weakened global growth in the second quarter, normalization steps taken by several countries have contributed to a partial revival.".

    Central banks carry on taking expansionary procedures whereas doubts continue high on the worldwide economy.
