    Iran-EAEU trade surpasses 2.4 billion USD as special trade accord

    (MENAFN) The worth of trade linking Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union arrived at 2.418 billion USD subsequent to the completion of the special trade accord on October 27, 2019.

    IRIB accounted that Ruhollah Latifi the spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) announced that more than 6.873 tons of merchandises have been traded connecting the two sides ever since that time.

    Ruhollah Latifi stated that the basic merchandises account for the main part of Iran's imports from the EAEU member states, Latifi also added that Iran's imports from those countries comprise 72 percent of the entire trade connecting the two sides.

    Latifi put Iran's imports from the EAEU countries stood on the special tariffs at more than 5.207 million tons worth at 1.737 billion USD, and the county's exports from the obstruct at 655,614 tons value 681 million USD.
