OPEC: Iranian crude oil expense increases 54 percent

(MENAFN) Iran traded its heavy crude oil at USD36.26 per barrel in June, contrasted to May's USD23.55 per barrel.

The country's normal heavy crude value was USD37.68 since the start of 2020 up to the report's publication day, according to the report.

The report put average Iranian crude production for the second four months of 2020 at 1.958 million barrels per day representing a close 103,000-bpd fall compared to the number for the first four months of 2020.

In addition to the damaging effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on international oil manufacturing which caused the severe drop in oil prices, the Iranian oil industry has also been under pressure from the U.S. determinations to cut off the country by reinforcing sanctions.
