    Periodical exports to Iraq place at 1.45 billion USD

    (MENAFN) The secretary-general of Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce declared that Iran has exported merchandise esteemed at 1.45 USD billion to Iraq throughout the first quarter of the present Iranian agenda year (March 20-June 20).

    IRNA recorded that Hamid Hosseini put the mass of exported goods to the neighboring country at five million tons.

    Hosseini further stated that Iran had exported 6.2 million tons of commodities worth 2.35 billion USD to Iraq throughout the first quarter of the previous year, but the periodical export has dropped because of the shutting of the boundaries owing to the coronavirus pandemic in this year.

    Throughout a conference connecting Iraj Masjedi Iran's Ambassador to Baghdad and Manhal Aziz Al-Khabbaz Iraq's new minister of manufacturing and raw materials on June 24, the two sides discuss growth of trade and industrial collaboration.
