    Iran: More than 8.8m tons of essential goods imported

    (MENAFN) Rouhollah Latifi put the brought in essential merchandises at 8.831 million tons esteemed at USD5.746 billion throughout the same period of time in the past year, representing a 30-percent fall in the price of importations.

    The administrator stated that there is no lack of essential merchandises in the country.

    IRICA head has formerly declared that 25 million tons of essential imports have been freed from Iran's customs during the previous Iranian calendar year (ended on March 19).

    35 million tons of commodities were imported into the country in the mentioned year, of which 25 million tons were basic goods, according to Mehdi Mirashrafi.
