    Iran ships 2nd non-oil load to Oman

    (MENAFN) This is the second time in the present Iranian calendar year (which started on March 20) that non-oil load is shipped from Iran to Oman via Sirik Port.

    Mehr news agency stated that Ahmad Jamaleddini put the weight of the second freight at 22 tons, counting fresh fruits and vegetables, dried nuts, and mineral water, which were shipped to the Omani port of Khasab.

    The administrator added that the first load with a capacity of 120 tons, counting mineral water and nuts, was shipped to Oman on June 2.

    In late April, Hamid Zadboum, the chief of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), denoted to the rise in trade volume between Iran and Oman and stated, "Last month the two countries launched a container shipping line to transit cargoes between the southern Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas and Port Sultan Qaboos in Oman."
