    Turkish Central Bank divides open market liquidity restrictions

    (MENAFN) On Friday August 7 the Turkish Central Bank declared Liquidity limits presented to main traders as part of release marketplace actions will be cut to half of their present restrictions.

    The bank stated that the new restrictions will be effective starting next Monday August 10.

    Tightening liquidity circumstances with the shift aspires to support the Turkish lira subsequent to it newly misplaced ground to other currencies.

    On Thursday August 6 approximately 18.00 p.m. local time (1500GMT), the dollar/lira exchange rate strikes an unsurpassed elevated of more than 7.30.
