    Number of wounded in Beirut's demonstrations increases to 238

    (MENAFN) The Lebanese Red Cross (LRC) declared on Saturday, August 8, that the number of wounded people in Beirut's demonstrations has increased to 238.

    According to Elnashra, an online independent newspaper, LRC stated that 63 of the wounded were sent to hospitals while 175 were given treatment at the scene.

    On Saturday afternoon, thousands took to streets in downtown Beirut in anti-government demonstrations that call the renovation of the political system, days after huge blasts shook the Lebanese capital that murdered no less than 158 and wounded 6,000 others.
