More than 172 million USD compensated for agricultural automation since March
(MENAFN) The head of Iran's Agricultural Mechanization Development Center stated that the government has salaried 7.23 trillion rials (concerning 172.14 million USD) of the assigned budget for agricultural automation throughout the first four months of the present Iranian agenda year (March 20-July 21).
IRNA quoted Kambiz Abbasi stating that "With the support of the Agricultural Ministry and the Agricultural Bank, more than 723 billion tomans (7.23 trillion rials) of funding was absorbed by the end of (the Iranian agenda month of) Tir (July 21),".
Abbasi stated that "Despite all the restrictions, more than 7,100 tractors have been added to the agricultural sector's fleet,".
Kambiz stated that the agriculture ministry has been allocating a divide credit line for the automation of the agriculture sector yearly, so that since the Iranian agenda year of 1392 (established on March 21, 2013) thus far, eight credit lines have been released for this sector.
