    Iran, Russia signs MOU on mining collaboration

    (MENAFN) On Tuesday August 18 IRNA accounted that Iran Mining Engineering Organization (IMEO) has marked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Russian Export Center (REC) for enlarging collaboration in engineering and mining areas.

    The MOU was marked by Tami Nabaei IMEO head and Head of the Russian Export Center in Tehran.

    Nabaei stated speaking in the marking ceremony, which was concentrated by senior officials from both sides that "According to this memorandum, the ground will be prepared for the development of cooperation between Iran and Russia, and the two countries have good capacities in the field of mining and mineral industries.".

    The official stated submitting to Russia's abilities and progressions in the meadow of mining equipment that "the Russian Export Center can help Iran in importing the machinery required in the mining sector and mining industries.".
