    TEDPIX drops 30,000 points on August 22

    (MENAFN) On Saturday August 22 IRIB accounted that TEDPIX, the major index of the Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), which is Iran's main stock exchange, dropped 30,000 points to 1.727 million on, which is the first day of the Iranian agenda week.

    The index had dropped 11.3 percent to place at 1.757 million points in the precedent week.

    As IRIB accounted that the majority of the trades were carried out through the indices of National Iranian Copper Industry Company, Ghadir Investment company, Bank Saderat, Mobarakeh Steel Company, and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, whereas transportation, paper products, ceramic and tile, cement and chalk were the mainly traded items at the TSE throughout the preceding week.

    TEDPIX had as well skilled a two-percent drop in the week finished on Friday August 14.
