65,000 exhausted trucks to be modernized in 3 years
(MENAFN) IRIB accounted that Iranian Transport and Urban Development Minister has stated that his ministry plans to modernize 65,000 worn-out trucks from the country's housing load transport fleet inside three years.
Mohammad Eslami completed the observations on August 22 in a marking ceremony for a trilateral deal amid Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization (RMTO), Iran Khodro Diesel, and Tose'e Ta'avon Bank for the renewal of 1,000 exhausted trucks.
Eslami accounted that the ceremony was concentrated by senior officials, counting Jafar Sarqeini the new Acting Industry, Mining and Trade Minister, Abdolhashem Hassan-Nia RMTO Head, Farshad Moqimi Managing Director of Iran Khodro Company, and Hojatollah Mahdian the Managing Director of Tose'e Ta'avon Bank.
Eslami stated referring to a deal finished connecting Bank Saderat Iran (BSI) and the RMTO with the private sector two weeks ago that "That contract covered the renovation of 5,000 trucks based on the fleet modernization plan and the contractor company is committed to deliver more than 2,000 vehicles this year.".
