    Turkey registers 1,443 new COVID-19 infections

    (MENAFN) Turkey on Monday reported 1,443 new infections of the novel COVID-19, taking the country's count to date to 259,692.

    On Twitter, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca stated that 743 patients have been cured of coronavirus over the last day, taking the total count of recoveries to 237,908.

    In the meantime, the fatalities in the country stood at 6,139, as 18 more people passed away.
