    Making of red meat, chicken meat to arrive at 3.5 million tons by next March

    (MENAFN) The deputy agriculture minister stated that the entire making of red and chicken meat is supposed to arrive at 3.5 million tons by the end of the present Iranian agenda year (March 20, 2021).

    IRNA quoted Morteza Rezaei as stating on August 22 that Red meat production will arrive at 880,000 tons, whereas chicken meat production is anticipated to attain 2.7 million tons.

    Rezaei stated ppeaking in a press conference on the time of the Government Week (August 23-29) that "Considering the measures taken, the egg production will reach 1,650,000 tons, the honey output will reach 113,000 tons, and the production of fresh silk cocoons will reach 1,650,000 tons.".

    The deputy minister reminded that based on the official statistics in current years the manufacture of red meat and chicken meat has augmented by 2.5 percent and 6.5 percent correspondingly.
