Turkish, United States solids ink contract for enormous chemical asset
(MENAFN) Turkish polyester manufacturer Sasa and United States-based chemical huge Koch Industries marked an accord for an asset worth 935 million USD to construct a manufacture place for purified terephthalic acid (PTA) a key constituent in polyester manufacture in eastern Turkey.
On Wednesday August 26 Sasa stated in a press release subjected that the plant, which will be created in Adana province and finished in 2022, will have a yearly production capability of 1.5 million tons of PTA.
The factory will generate 400 new occupations and add to the country's current explanation balance with 300 million USD annually.
Ibrahim Erdemoglu Sasa chairman stated that the corporation would be the biggest polyester manufacturer in the world subsequent to China and India.
