Iran, Turkmenistan talk about circumstances of boundaries transport
(MENAFN) Mohammad Eslami Iranian Transport and Urban Development Minister held meeting with Rasit Meredow Turkmenistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs through video conference to talk about the situation of road and rail transport on the common boundaries linking Iran and Turkmenistan.
The portal of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) accounted in the conference that the two sides stressed the need for taking imperative procedures to raise transportation limitations linking the two countries, and to increase regional collaboration, and develop strategic, economic and trade association, particularly throughout the pandemic.
Eslami as well essential Turkmenistan collaboration for the re-opening of Sarakhs and Incheboron border terminals and for removing obstructions to railroad links in boundary passages.
Submitting to the healthcare procedures taken in Iran, which have led to the decrease of the negative crashes of the coronavirus pandemic in the field of carrying Eslami stated that "Currently, Iran's trade exchanges are established at 30 border crossings with neighbors, and health protocols are strictly enforced at border points.".
