    Turkish benchmark index ends week 093 percent higher

    (MENAFN) At the week's closing session of Friday in Borsa Istanbul, Turkey's benchmark stock index rose by 0.93 percent, reaching a total of 1,086.32 points.

    Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index grossed 9.98 points from Thursday's shut of 1,076.34 points, compared to 1,074.98 points earned at the opening of the week"s last transaction day.

    The index hanged around 1,072.80 and 1,090.03 points during the day.

    The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 801.4 billion Turkish liras (USD 108.3 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 13.97 billion Turkish liras (USD 1.88 billion).
