    Repair processes for South Pars platform SPD 8 totaled

    (MENAFN) The company's manufacture and operations director declared that Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC) has stopped the yearly overhaul operations for Platform SPD8 of the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf waters.

    Shana quoted Alireza Ebadi as stating that "With the completion of overhaul operations and the replacement of the three main gas pipelines, production on this platform has resumed,".

    Ebadi reminded as issued on the POGC website that subsequent to the final studies and appraisals on the SPD8 platform in the preceding Iranian agenda year (ended on March 19) the necessitated points for enhancement were recognized in this platform, and those developments were made throughout this year's repair operations.

    Ebadi stated that the yearly repair agenda of the talked about platform, which is one of the platforms of times 6 to 8 of South Pars, was founded on August 11 and took 25 days to total.
