    Iran, Azerbaijan talk about ways to increase rail collaboration

    (MENAFN) The portal of Iran's Transport Ministry issued that Iran and Azerbaijan transport ministers talked about railway relations and collaboration involving the two countries throughout a conference through video conference on Monday.

    Throughout the talks with Azerbaijani Ramin Guluzade Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies, Mohammad Eslami Iranian Transport and Urban Development Minister expressed Iran's readiness for the growth of local rail communications and infrastructure.

    Submitting to the sustain and stress of the two countries' presidents on the need for increasing transport and transit collaboration, the officials articulated hope that by carrying out mutual schemes, the two neighbors would increase their relations in the talked about fields.

    Further in the conference, Eslami briefed his Azeri equivalent about Iran's railway network, in addition to the vast capability of the country's railways in the north-south and east-west roads and its association to the railways of neighboring countries.
