Tehran, Porto pressure exchange trade to increase financial ties
(MENAFN) Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) and the Porto Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACP/CCIP) held a webinar on September 15 to investigate ways of increasing trade collaboration linking the two sides.
ICCIMA portal accounted that criticizing the present level of trade linking the two states, the two sides stressed require for via barter trade and founding financial channels linking the two countries to recover the economic relations.
Mohammad-Reza Karbasi ICCIMA Deputy Head for International Affairs stated in the webinar that "The use of barter trade is one of the ways to develop trade cooperation, the realization of which, of course, requires the cooperation of the central banks of the two countries and establishing a financial exchange system,".
Prearranged by the ICCIMA in association with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lisbon and the Porto Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the talked about webinar was attended by Mohammad-Reza Karbasi ICCCIMA Deputy Head Iranian Ambassador to Lisbon Morteza Damanpak Jami, a figure of CCIP board associates in addition to a group of Iranian and Portuguese businessmen.
