    Turkish exports of buses, minibuses approaching 1 Billion USD

    (MENAFN) On Wednesday September 23 an industry group data released showed that Turkey exported buses, minibuses, and midbuses value 916.5 million USD to 87 countries as of January to August this year.

    The Uludag Automotive Industry Exporters Association (OÄ°B) figures accumulated showed that A majority of the sales were to EU countries France (154.8 million USD), Germany (147.1 million USD), and Italy (89.6 million USD).

    Exports to Morocco, which was fourth on the list, enlarged 27.79 percent contrasted to the same phase last year and arrived at 35.6 million USD.

    Sales to the Czech Republic placed at 26.5 million USD, marking a 112 percent increase in the eight-month phase, whereas exports to Russia soared by 376.11 percent to strike 23.3 million USD.
