    Schemes value 13 billion USD to be applied in free trade, special economic zones

    (MENAFN) An official with the Iranian Free Zones High Council declared that concerning 600 growth schemes value more than 550 trillion rials (about 13.095 billion USD) will be applied in the country's free trade zones and special economic zones by the end of the present government's incumbency (August 2021).

    ILNA accounted Ahmad Jamali the deputy secretary-general of the Free Zones High Council for the economic affairs as well stated that the talked about schemes will create jobs for 102,000 people.

    The secretary of Free Zones High Council stated that more than 40 percent of Iran's exports are done throughout the country's free trade zones and special financial zones.

    Morteza Bank considers that the figure would have been advanced if there had not been the banking restrictions because of the sanctions.
