    More than 117,000 tons of tea leaves produced as late March

    (MENAFN) Iran's deputy agriculture minister stated that 117,126 tons of tea leaves have been produced in the country as the starting of the present Iranian agenda year (March 20).

    IRIB accounted Mohammad-Ali Tahmasbi stated that the production has been arrived at in spite of the cold weather at the starting of the produce season and a 10-day stoppage in starting harvest.

    Head of Iran's Tea Organization (ITO) Habib Jahansaz stated that Tea manufacture in Iran is anticipated to arrive at 130,000 tons in the present Iranian agenda year (ends on March 20, 2021).

    Tea produce season founds in farmlands athwart the northern provinces of Gilan and Mazandaran early on May.
