    Iran, Qatar talk about linking authority grids throughout sea

    (MENAFN) On Monday September 28 Iran's Energy Ministry portal (Paven) accounted that Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian and Qatari Minister of State for Energy Affairs Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi held an online conference to talk about connecting the two countries' electricity networks through sea.

    Throughout the online conference the two sides also talked about a regional initiative for increasing collaboration in the field of alternative water resources, counting seawater desalination and the use of treated wastewater.

    As accounted the stated subject had been talked about and accepted at a recent conference of the Regional Centre on Urban Water Management (RCUWM) hosted by Tehran.

    Al-Kaabi declared in this regard that his country's willingness for participating in this proposal and recommended that regular conferences would be held in the region's countries so that experts could exchange information on the connected plans.
