    Turkish exports entire 12.5 Billion USD in August

    (MENAFN) On Wednesday September 30 the country's statistical authority declared that Turkey's exports dropped 5.7 percent in August yearly to arrive at 12.5 billion USD.

    The Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) stated that Turkey's imports, on the other hand, increased 20.4 percent to place at 18.7 billion USD in the month, against the similar month last year.

    TurkStat stated that the foreign trade deficit was 6.3 billion USD in August, up and about 168.2 percent yearly.

    The export-to-import reporting ratio was 66.5 percent, whereas it was 85 percent the similar month last year.
