    Qeshm Island to be associated to countrywide gas network by March 2023

    (MENAFN) Shana accounted the running director of Hormozgan Province Gas Company stated that Qeshm Island is intended for be attached to the national gas network by the end of the Iranian agenda year 1401 (March 20, 2023).

    Foad Hamzavi stated that "The 30-inch line for transmitting 40 million cubic meters of gas from the west of Bandar-Abbas (center of Hormozgan) to the Gorzin Village in Qeshm Island will be put into operation by the middle of next year,".

    Hamzavi stated that from next September awaiting the finish of 1401, all Qeshm villages will advantage as of natural gas throughout the countrywide network.

    The official reminded that supported on the teachings subjected by the Oil Ministry, the allocation of LPG cylinders in the areas which have admission to the national network is forbidden and subsequent to the organization of the gas provide network in Qeshm, the sharing of such cylinders will be unfinished.
