    Figure of dual-fuel cars arrives at almost 4 million

    (MENAFN) National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC) data released illustrated that the figure of dual-fuel cars in Iran has increased to 3,908,604 vehicles subsequent to the conclusion of a plan to revolve public vehicles into dual-fuel cars.

    The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC) and Iran's nationalized Iran Khodro Company (IKCO) marked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to add new dual-fuel vehicles to the country's public carrying fleet Back in December 2019.

    The talked about MOU was aspired to add 1.46 million dual-fuel vehicles to the public transportation fleet, of which thus far 25,000 cars have been adapted.

    As accounted, subsequent to the completion of the talked about program, the distribution capability of compressed natural gas (CNG) in contribute stations across the country has now arrived at about three million cubic meters per hour and on average, regarding 22 million cubic meters (mcm) of CNG is completed on a daily foundation.
