Iran: Production from Sarajeh gas stock to surpass 1bcm by next year
(MENAFN) According to Ramin Hatami, about 902 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas was generated from Sarajeh stock in the prior Iranian calendar year (finished on March 19) while 869 million cubic meters of gas was inserted into this stock, Shana revealed.
The production volume of the stock is estimated to stand at more than one billion cubic meters this year with the extra of no less than 150 mcm to the inserted gas, he added.
Relating to the company's full readiness for providing natural gas in winter, the official stated: "With the increase of gas storage in the Sarajeh storage, we are fully prepared to supply and support the national gas line in the cold season."
