(MENAFN) A research vessel at the center of an energy rights row with Greece will be sent back to borderline waters in the Mediterranean, according to a statement issued by the Turkish navy.The statement disclosed that the ship was sent to survey a zone claimed by Greece, Turkey and Cyprus in August, and since then tensions have been triggered between these nations.In the context of diplomatic attempts to resolve the dispute, Turkey extracted its ship, the Oruc Reis, in September.Now, Ankara has said that the vessel will again spend 10 days conducting seismic research in the eastern Mediterranean.The vessel will also be accompanied by two other ships, Ataman and Cengiz Han.
