    Iron: ore concentrate production augmented 4 percent

    (MENAFN) The monthly iron ore concentrate production throughout the sixth month of this year has increased six percent on a yearly basis.
    The country manufactured 4.248 million tons of the product in the sixth month of the present year, while the number was 4.014 million tons in the same month of the prior year.
    Iran"s iron ore concentrate manufacturing volume has augmented by five million tons to stand at 62 million tons after the inauguration of the country"s largest concentrate unit in northeastern Khorasan Razavi Province on June 11.
    The mentioned manufacturing unit was inaugurated by Leader Hassan Rouhani via video meeting.
    As declared by the sector, Mining, and Trade Ministry, Iran manufactured 47.306 million tons of iron ore concentrate in the prior Iranian calendar year (ended on March 19), reporting a four-percent increase compared to its former year.
