    UAE to improve economy

(MENAFN) The UAE's Ministry of Economy declared on Sunday, October 18th, that they are putting 33 initiatives into motion to help improve the economy and draw investors in, as a way to fight off the slump caused by Covid-19 pandemic.

The decision was announced back in August, with various sectors targeted, such as energy and healthy, but had development trade, food security, and the green economy as the main sectors to work on reviving.

The project will be spread out into three stages, but share one main goal; reviving the economy.

According to the ministry the first stage will be focused on offering instant support to business divisions through 15 key initiatives, while the second stage will offer secondary support that encourages the fast economic growth, and recovery of those same divisions.

Finally, the third stage will work on enhancing other crucial sectors, with a new goal in mind; "sustainable and flexible development".

The three stage plan will work on offering financial support, like funding, while also marketing tourism, encouraging original ideas, and improving priority divisions.

Abdulla bin Touq, the minister of economy, stated: "Since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic until today, we have come a long way in driving forward economic recovery efforts, working on business continuity in many vital sectors in the country and supporting the private sector and stimulating trade and investment by following up the implementation of the first phase of the package of initiatives, led by a vision to work in a way that balances public health and economy."
