    Turkish industries rise

    (MENAFN) Turkey's top trade body declared on Friday, October 23rd, that a sum of 10,603 new industries were founded in the country in September, a 37.77 percent rise from the previous year.

    The Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges have also published records that the representative used to support his point, saying that the number also portrayed a 13.38 percent monthly rise.

    Almost 1,470 firms stopped operating the previous month which is 18.45 percent higher than last year.

    More than 85 percent of the new companies are limited industries while 13 percent are joint stock firms.

    The major three sectors of operation among the new industries were wholesale and retail trade, manufacturing, and construction.

    In September, 1,197 industries with overseas associates were in business, 665 of them have Turkish associates, while 63 have Iranian collaborators, and 36 have Syrian partners.
