Turkey signs gas deal with Ukraine
(MENAFN) Lodos Propulsion, a Turkish energy company, signed a defense agreement with Zorya-Mashproekt, Ukrainian gas turbine manufacturer which is owned by the Ukrainian state-run defense company Ukroboronprom.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by the two parties during a conference in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, after a discussion about the possible dual manufacturing of military products and energy and infrastructure sectors.
The MoU was based on Turkey and Ukraine's new military collaboration deal, which was signed between the two nations the previous week during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy's official visit to Turkey.
The CEO of Zorya-Mashproekt , Denis Gordienko, stated that the MoU is a first move to offer the Ukrainian company an open door to enter the Turkish market.
