    Main index of Tehran Stock Exchange falls 3.5 percent

    (MENAFN)The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), TEDPIX, dropped 3.5 percent in previous week (ended on Friday).

    On Wednesday, the index closed at 1.398 million points, which was the ultimate working day of the last week.

    The indices of Iran Khodro Group, Social Security Investment Company, Saipa Company, Esfahan Oil Refining Company, and National Iranian Copper Industry Company were the most extensively followed indices, in the five working days of the previous week.

    TEDPIX, which had been experiencing an unexpectedly increasing trend since the ultimate days of the last Iranian year, recorded high of two million points on August 2, 2020, but then it started to fall, coming down to 1.2 million points.
