    Full recovery of globe air passenger travel takes as long as 2023-24

    (MENAFN)The chairman of national flag carrier Turkish Airlines declared that, full recovery of world air passenger travel may take as long as 2023-24, as vaccination campaigns alone will not be sufficient to take the market back to pre-pandemic levels.

    This year will be a year of change for the aviation sector, stated Ilker Ayci to Anadolu Agency.

    Ayci further said that, "Even if the whole world is being vaccinated at the same time, the market will not pick up soon, as financial recovery for both companies and customers will take time."

    The worldwide air freight market pointed as passenger jets were beached, also making those flights incapable for carrying cargo, at the end of the first quarter of the previous year, when Coronavirus"s full impact was starting to affect.
