    Iran revives 1,200 idle industrial units in 2020

    (MENAFN)Over 1,200 idle industrial units have been invigorated via the country in this year according to the Iranian calendar year, which started on March 20, 2020, declared the deputy interior minister for economic coordination.

    There are about 46,500 industrial units in Iran’s industrial parks and zones, of them 37,000 units (over 80 percent) are active, he further said.

    Also, over 743,000 persons are running in these units, and if the 9,200 idle units will go back to the production cycle, jobs will be offered for 192,000 persons, he also stated.

    Industry, Mining, and Trade Ministry was in the beginning managing to renew 1,500 idle units in this year, but then it changed its plans to revive 2,000 units.
