    Turkish Treasury's cash balance records USD6.3B deficit last month

    (MENAFN)On Friday, the Treasury and Finance Ministry stated that, the Turkish Treasury's cash balance registered a shortfall of 46.7 billion Turkish liras (USD6.3 billion) in previous month.

    Cash revenues of the Treasury amounted at 98.3 billion Turkish liras (USD13.2 billion) previous month.

    Its expenditures, including interest payments of around 4.1 billion liras (some USD551 million), recorded some 146 billion liras (USD19.7 billion).

    Non-interest expenditures stood at 141.9 billion liras (USD19 billion), motivating a 43.5 billion liras (USD5.9 billion) deficit in the primary balance.

    In the past month, the Treasury registered a total of 1 billion Turkish liras (USD134 million) revenues from the privatization or fund income.
