    Unemployment rate falls12.7 percent in October in Turkey

    (MENAFN)On Monday, the country's statistical institute showed that the unemployment value in Turkey was 12.7 percent in October, dropping 0.7 percentage points annual.

    TurkStat reported that the figure of unemployed people aged 15 and over declined by 391,000 to just over 4 million as of October in comparison with the previous year same month, saying that the youth unemployment number in the 15-24 age group dropped to 24.9 percent, with a 0.4-percentage-point decrease.

    The non-agricultural unemployment value also dropped by 0.9 percentage point to 14.8 percent annual in the same month.

    In the meantime, employment was registered at 43.6perecnt with a 2.3-percentage-point annual decrease.
