    Iran: Price of cellphones falls 12-20 percent

    (MENAFN)On wednesady, the representative of the Iranian Association of Cellphone, Tablet and Accessories Importers declared that the price of cellphones fell 12-20 percent in Iran in last days.

    During the first nine months of this Iranian year, Iran's imports of mobile phones increased 27 percent, in comparison with the previous year same period.

    The representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Ruhollah Latifi stated that the country imported 8,617,438 cellphones valued at USD1.34 billion country in the stated period, ranking the commodity at second amid the top imported items.

    The country’s customs cleared over 6,779,012 mobile phones in the last year same time of span, he further said.
