Iran’s president launches 61 projects in free, special economic zones
(MENAFN)According to IRNA, over 61 projects valued at 92 trillion rials (about USD2.19 billion) were launched by President Hassan Rouhani in some of the free trade zones and special economic zones of the country via video meeting on Thursday.
The projects were set into process in the production, industry, trade, and infrastructure sectors of the zones in Hormozgan, Gilan, Bushehr, Qom, East Azarbaijan, and Markazi provinces, offering jobs for 3,200 persons.
Completion of growth projects in the stated areas represents the serious efforts and determination of the government to flourish the business environment within the framework of the policies of the confrontation economy and accomplish the targets of the surge in production the current year, as well as boost export capacity, foreign currency earnings and employment.
