    Koita Foods witnesses 350 percent rise in online sales in Coronavirus

    (MENAFN)Dairy and plant-based drinks company Koita Foods witnessed a 350 percent increase in online sales previous year as consumers running their works from home in the Coronavirus pandemic hold e-commerce and healthier diets.

    Arab News quoted Mustafa Koita, the firm’s founder and CEO as saying, “Many platforms are asking for our products as globally there is a big move toward buying online.”

    Koita Foods’ mission is to make healthier food easier to get for families in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia (MENASA) region.

    In the first six months of the previous year, the company’s data represented that total sales in Saudi Arabia rose 111 percent annual, with a 150 percent increase in demand for plant-based drinks, and a 140 percent enlargement in sales of lactose-free produce.
