    Turkey's furniture sector preserves great performance in 2020

    (MENAFN)Industry experts stated that Turkey's buoyant furniture sector planned to preserve its strong export performance in last year in spite of the Coronavirus.

    Turkey's exports in last year amounted at USD3.5 billion, unchanged from the earlier year, bucking the challenges of the pandemic, declared the head of the Furniture Industry Businessmen Association, Nuri Gurcan.

    Previous year’s statistics made Turkey the eighth-largest furniture exporter in the world, close on the heels of the US with USD4.7 billion and Canada at USD3.7 billion.

    He further stated that "If we hit our target for 2021, which is around $4 billion to $4.5 billion, we’ll climb to seventh place."
